This is the story of Betty the caravan, how we came to have her in the Lewis family and her makeover so far...
She was bought from ebay from a lovely family from Leicester. We bought her with some money left to us from my Grampy. His wife, my nan, was Betty and this is where the name comes from.
As a young girl the best holidays were spent with Mum, Dad, Josie, Nanny (Betty) and Grampy and so what better way to remember him than start some memories of our own with our very own van!
Another appeal of Betty was the built in chess board. I kept my eyes peeled on ebay and for £4.80 won these gorgeous handpainted, dutch wooden chess pieces. Oooh I love a bargain !!
